Before sitting at any place, even a dog cleans it. This tendency teaches us that living beings like cleanliness. If we do not wash our clothes, then how dirty they become? Kastē kṣamaḥ suraguru – pratimōpi bud’dhayā ?
Kalpāntakāla – pavanōd’dhata – nakracakraṁ
Kō vā tarītumalamambunidhiṁ bhujābhyām ? ||4||
In this life only
इहलोगे सुचिण्णा कम्मा
इहलोगे सुहफल विवाग संजुत्ता भवन्ति
इहलोगे सुहफल विवाग संजुत्ता भवन्ति
In this world, good deeds done here, yield good results here only
Benefits of Self-study
सज्झाएणं नाणावरणिज्जं कम्मं खवेइ

Victory over anger is the father of forgiveness

जीवियं चेव रूवं च, विज्जुसंपाय चंचलं
Life and body are fickle like lightening
Will not repeat the mistake
तं परिण्णाय मेहावी, इयाणिं णो,
जमहं पुव्वमकासो पमाएणं
जमहं पुव्वमकासो पमाएणं
A bright aspirant, through self-realization, should resolve not to repeat the mistakes committed due to un-vigilance in the past life
