Best conduct

Whatever be the best, act accordingly

Most of the living beings of this world, bereft of their vision, have become the slaves of beauty and melody. Day and night they think of sense gratification. Worldly pleasure might be momentary; still, they invest their life’s invaluable time in pursuit of those; it must be said that they waste their time. Continue reading “Best conduct” »

Inner purity

If purity were possible with the touch of water (bathing), then many water-beings would have got liberated

Many people think that they have purified themselves by bathing. Such people have blind faith. They do not understand that there is a lot of difference between body cleaning and self- cleaning. Penance and Caste

Penance and Caste

Penance – special is seen directly, but caste-special is not seen

Loss of body strength due to penance is seen directly; by observing one we can find out whether a particular person has done penance or not. Due to penance, one’s body may be depleted but not the mind. His face shines like moonlight. A man of austerity is good-natured – practitioner of virtues. Thus, specialties born out of penance are seen by all. Continue reading “Penance and Caste” »

Greed and restlessness

Greed and restlessness

Greedy and restless speak lies

Answering this question, it has been said that the one who is greedy, he speaks lies to fulfill his cravings. Cravings are never fulfilled – this is a fact; but remaining ignorant of this, the greedy, throughout his life is always trying to fulfill his desires. He never gets success in this; still, he constantly runs after and is ready to speak lies at every step. Continue reading “Greed and restlessness” »

Know and then speak

Know and then speak

Until full information is not available on a subject, do not say,“This is this only”

Until we do not have full information on a subject, we should not say anything with surety. Otherwise, when the listener comes to know about the reality from other sources, then our position would become laughable. People will never believe us. Continue reading “Know and then speak” »
