While the Siddhgiri tirthyatra, while climbing towards Lord Adishwar’s darbar, the third idol is of Aiemutta muni. After being initiated, Aiemutta muni came for alms at the occassion of Devki’s wedding. Jeevyasha, wife of Kansa pleaded him to dance as he was brother of Kansa. By mistake he forecasted, ”On whose marriage you’re happy, her 8th son will make you widow.” Aiemuttha muni went away. This Historical place speaks to us of the great King Kumarpal.

Ruler of eighteen countries and a strict follower of Ahimsa – Non-Violence ‘King Kumarpal’ brought here a pilgrimage on foot. Thousands of men and women joined. As they reached Palitana, King Kumarpal, refused to take the title of Sanghpati free and wear the Sanghmal. He said “Whoever offers more money should be given the chance of becoming Sanghvi. The Holiest Hill Shatrunjaya is before us with its peak beautified with thousands of Jain Temples. The ridges of the two hills, two thousand feet above sea level, are crowded with an incredible collection of temples and shrines having varied description and size. The highest part of the mountain top is occupied by Shri Adishwar Temple, a particularly ornate building dating from 1530 AD, situated on the site on which was, very much earlier temple dating from the time of Lord Adishwar, countless centuries ago. During the Siddhgiri yatra, while walking few more steps we come across a place where there is a wide space. When we move a little left and climb those few steps we see, a road going straight.
