You are your own friend

The aspirant who is firm on his devotion to duty, he does not care whether he gets external assistance or not. He is friendly with everyone but does not bother whether others are friendly or not. Being friendly with friends is a business because we help those who help us. This type of help is trading. A devotee is not a trader.

Without expecting anything in return, he helps everyone like a river, cloud or the sun – he is his own friend.
